Using full cream Jersey milk and traditional methods, Stonehouse Cheese aims to manufacture fantastic boutique cheeses for food lovers all over South Africa. Their specialty is white mold cheeses like Camembert & Brie but also flavoured Semi Soft cheeses (Salmo Espiral) and a their Boerenkaas with Cumin.
A hard cheese in the traditional Dutch format, with 1-3 months maturation. Full flavour at 2 months but will continue to grow in flavour over time. Ideal for baking or grilling (hot or cold), but just as great for snacking on a cheese & charcuterie board. Infused with real Cumin seeds to give it that extra nutty & earthy flavour.
