The idea of our Country Pantry came from a love of good food, the passion for creating delicious meals and using local products to make them with. With so many small businesses in South Africa making good and wholesome food but so few people that know about them, our aim is to bring them and their products online. Thus making them available for everyone from Cape Town to Komatipoort and everywhere in-between. We are passionate about food and so should you. 

By supporting the local farmers, small businesses and home cooks to sell their great products, we assist and uplift our surrounding communities and ensure a strong and sustainable local economy. By purchasing through our online shop you do the same and we thank you for it.

Being aware of the food we buy and where it comes from is just as important in maintaining a healthy lifestyle as choosing to eat nutritious food.

Local and Fresh is part of our logo and so too are our products. All our products are either grown or made by and with South Africans in mind.

Because we aim to supply you with only local and fresh produce, some of our items will not be available year-round. The year has 4 seasons for a reason - enjoy our range of products when available. If there is something you can't find on our 'virtual' shelves, please ask. We will do our best to source it for you.
