Boerenkaas or Farmhouse Cheese as it is sometimes referred too is a Full Fat Hard Cheese and was originally developed in the Netherlands. The Forest Hill cheeses are slow-aged and ripened to perfection.
Production at the cheesery is small in volume and the cheeses are all still made by hand with no machinery involved in the production process. This allows for production of boutique style, full flavoured cheeses.
