Koperfontein Tuisprodukte is a small family run business situated just outside the small town of Hopefield in the Western Cape. Like with so many other small businesses, Koperfontein started out as a hobby suppling the surrounding community with traditional 'boerekos'. Only small batches of each product are produced to ensure the best quality.

Mission or Kalamata Olives are used for this product and come directly from owners own garden. Going with a non-traditional way, the olives are smoked before being preserved in a light salt, vinegar and rosemary brine. This gives the Mission olives a very unique taste.
