Anciano - Italian style hard cheese. This cheese has a lightly nutty and caramel undertone. Aged for 7-9 months. Doubles up well as a parmesan in dishes. Its flavour is more pronounced when heated in foods. Also delicious as shavings on salads and lovely on a cheese board.
